Focused Facilitation began 1 year ago this month by Alan Richardson, in Adel, Iowa. Alan is a Professional Certified EOS® Implementer, as well as a CExPTM certified Succession and Continuity Planner. Alan started Focused Facilitation because he is extremely passionate about helping others, specifically helping business owners get everything they want out of their business. Alan assembled a Leadership Team; Director of Marketing, Cooper Richardson, and Jonathan Payne, MSA and Office Manager. Both also serve as EOS® Implementers. As an organization, we see ourselves in a snapshot called the VTOTM (Vision/Traction Organizer). This is a tool used in the EOS® process, and we practice what we preach. Below is a walk through of who we are, as an organization, at the core.
Most important, are our organizations Core Values. At the core, we as Focused Facilitators are 5 things. We are Humbly Confident. We absolutely believe in what we do, and have the knowledge - however we strive to be humble and respectful about the results we obtain. We Grow or Die, meaning our team is constantly learning, reading, and making ourselves more valuable to the client. We always Help First, we have a ‘plentiful mentality’ as Zig Ziglar says, “You will get all you want in life, if you help enough other people get what they want”. We Do the Right Thing, our team will work hard to never betray our clients trust, and doing whatever it takes to solve issues and move your business forward. And lastly, we Do What We Say, sometimes more and never less. So – once again, all of those values are at the core, the heart, of Focused Facilitation.
Next, then, is why we exist. Our organization first and foremost exists to glorify God in all that we do. What we do is help entrepreneurs and their leadership teams get everything they want from their business. This focus allows our small team to be united around what we do, and keeps us constantly moving in the same direction to accomplish our goals.
There is much more to our VTOTM – however just understanding those 3 things, who we are, why we exist, and what we do is first and foremost. More will
Moving forward, this blog will be dedicated to two things:
1. Breaking pieces of info from our two processes into weekly, easy-read segments.
2. Sharing personal stories and learnings from our Facilitator’s sessions.
We hope you enjoyed learning about who we are as an organization, and please stay tuned for new blog posts each week!
